The painting is painted in a disionistic way, that will say the painter used large spots of colour to give a unusual contrast. This technique was also in use by the Braband Fauvistic painters
Anotation:
Because of the colourtechnigue and the and the use of contrasting colors it seems the painting was painted earlier during the London period. Desmet returned to Belgie already in 1926.
